Terridar’s Beginnings... Terridar Today...

In 1985, to pay his way through university, Michael Martin began a small renovation company performing renovations and additions on private residences and multi-unit structures, in and around the Ottawa area. After leaving university, Michael worked for a builder, based in Manotick, where he honed his skills as a framer, drywaller, finisher and, later, site supervisor.

By 1990, Michael was ready to start his own design and building company and Terridar Builders was born.

As word of its reputation for quality-built homes and personalized service spread, the company grew and Michael encouraged his wife, Wendy Martin, to join him in the business and assume responsibility for the administration and accounting roles. Today, Wendy continues to oversee these functions and is also responsible for marketing. Together, they provide the kind of excellent customer service that only comes from a small, family-run business.

All subcontractors and tradespeople, associated with Terridar Builders, have been retained because of their committment to excellence in workmanship and reliability. Many have worked with Terridar since it began.
