“Our initial meeting with Michael Martin was very positive. We had previously met with several builders and upon our first meeting we knew that Terridar Builders would be constructing our home. Both Michael and Wendy were indispensable in helping us with our design. We had a fairly clear idea of the aspects that we dreamed of having and they were able to translate that into the house plan.
Michael’s technical skill and knowledge is extensive and up-to-date. We had the particular challenge of building a very complex home and Terridar Builders lived up to our expectations in every way. We have always thought of ourselves as perfectionists and we were surprised to find that Michael and Wendy were more so! For every small detail with which we were dissatisfied throughout construction, Michael found three...and they were all fixed! Quality and the ‘personal touch’ were at the forefront of our building experience.
Pricing, probably the major consideration for most home buyers, was a pleasant surprise, especially given the quality of materials used. In the end, the price quoted for the home was the price delivered.
There is no doubt that building a home is a stressful experience. Michael and Wendy did everything in their power to make it as enjoyable as possible. And it was! We can honestly say that there is nothing that we would have done differently with our home were we to repeat the process. Should the time come to build again, Terridar Builders will be our choice.”
“Extending a 125 year old stone farmhouse is no easy task. Not only must the extension meet the requirements of present day living but its design must also be sympathetic to the parent building without detracting from or overpowering it. Attention to the 19th century detail, both inside and out, is crucial.
Terridar Builders Inc., working in close co-operation with the architect, more than fulfilled our expectations. The project was conducted in an amicable atmosphere and completed within the time and cost constraints. The workmanship could not be faulted. I have no hesitation in giving this contractor my unqualified recommendation.”
